These Everyday Pill Organizers Are Stylish and Functional
Make taking your essential meds a little more pleasant

Have you ever found yourself trying to fish pills out of tiny cheap plastic containers you grabbed for a buck at the drugstore? You deserve better.
I recently upgraded and wish I had sooner. I carry a nice commuter bag, I have a quality umbrella and a variety of cheerful bands for my Apple Watch. So why am I popping open a depressing pill box, squinting to see which one has a tiny “W” for Wednesday on it.
Also, as a pharmacist once informed me, the look of a standard pill case can be a trigger for some people, reminding you of a difficult health event. I related: I ordered a big plastic pill organizer while caring for my husband after he returned home from his Covid hospitalization. He’s fine, but the pill container is hidden on a high shelf outta sight.
Here are cases I’ve tested and used as well as others that met Buy Side’s criteria: stylish, clearly labeled and appropriate for travel. Most also have separate compartments for morning and evening doses and a slot for contact or prescription information.
Leather wristlet look-alike
This polypropylene case has the feel of pebbled leather, which I’ve appreciated as it makes it easy to locate within a larger bag. It has removable individual cases—you can keep your week organized and just pop that day’s pills into your tote or work bag. It comes in six colors and includes spots for morning and evening doses.
Luxe camouflage
This case, part of a stylish collaboration between Todd Snyder and Ettinger, is not inexpensive, but has a luxe look and feel with its goat leather exterior and suede interior and would make a lovely gift if you know someone who would appreciate an upgrade. The camouflage design contains pill cases for each day with dividers that can be used for different pills or times of day.
Watch roll doppelgänger
Colleagues guessed that this cylindrical style was a small watch holder at first. While the material doesn’t feel as luxe as some of the others we tried, it is functional and the magnetic clasp has proven strong in our daily use. There’s a choice of interior cases in black or bright colors and it includes spots for morning and evening doses.
Printed pick
If having a pill case with Coach’s signature print and gold logo will brighten your day, this one may be for you. It has seven compartments for the days of the week plus one extra.
Metallic-look
This discreet, BPA-free holder has a metallic-look finish in Champagne, Rose or Steele (black), with letters for the days of the week on the side of the case. About 6½ inches long, the pill tray slide-locks into place for travel and is a convenient choice for daily meds, prenatal vitamins and more.
Make it floral
This vibrant option from Vera Bradley comes in the quilted style familiar to fans of the brand in a water-repellent polyester. The case has eight compartments and a choice of four other fabric styles.
Classic leather
This pouch with its pebbled leather exterior and honeycomb print interior is a stylish way to stow your pills. With eight compartments, it’s best for people who don’t need to separate pills by time of day. It comes in Classic Blue or Black.
Sporty and waterproof
Taking your pill case in a kayak or skiing? This 7½-inch-long canister from Matador is waterproof and “crushproof” with a brushed aluminum shell. Its compartments are numbered, so you may not find it ideal for everyday use, but it can be a great go-to for travel and sports.
