Chelsey Dulaney is a markets reporter at The Wall Street Journal in London, where she writes about the intersection of financial markets, economics and geopolitics. Her topics include emerging markets and European and U.K. bond markets.

Before joining the bureau in 2022, Chelsey was a reporter, producer and presenter at German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle. She was a 2018-2019 Fulbright Fellow in Berlin, where she studied gender inequality in the German labor market, which remains particularly prominent in former East German states.

Before moving to Germany, Chelsey was a reporter at the Journal in New York from 2014 to 2018. Back then, she covered currencies, breaking corporate news and real estate.

A North Carolina native, Chelsey graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2014.
