His stories have explored a variety of topics, including the Russo-Ukrainian war, Covid-19, the Miami building collapse, the Notre-Dame Cathedral fire, the 2021 New York mayoral election and the fall of Kabul, among others. He specializes in data visualization, cartography, illustration and graphics.

Before joining the Journal, he worked for NBC News and the Associated Press as an interactive producer. While at the Associated Press, he won a Deadline Club Award as well as a Dart Center for Journalism Award for his coverage on the kidnapping and killings around Iguala, Mexico. He began his career as a graphic designer for the Miami Herald.
